4way is proud to celebrate the achievements of Anis Ali and Paul Carroll, who have successfully completed the National Highways Roads Academy Aspiring Leaders programme. This 12-month programme is designed to develop current and future leaders in the roads sector through a unique blend of eLearning, in-person workshops, and collaborative opportunities.

Guided by the themes of Operational Excellence, Emotional Intelligence, and Future Capabilities, Anis and Paul enhanced their knowledge across a wide range of leadership topics, including Delivery, Operations, Culture, Coaching, and Strategy. The programme not only refreshed their existing expertise but also broadened their perspectives on innovative leadership practices, while providing opportunities to address real-world challenges alongside peers from across the National Highways supply chain.

Reflecting on the experience, Paul highlighted the value of networking through in-person sessions, saying: “I particularly valued the classroom sessions where I got to connect with peers from other companies and disciplines within the National Highways supply chain.”

Anis praised the programme’s comprehensive approach, noting: “It has been a great experience overall. The online training portal was extensive and offered a great variety of content. The classroom workshops were also excellent and packed with knowledge.”
